Believe it or not, cleaning a microwave is a very simply process, begin by filling your cup with rubbing alcohol, place a sponge inside the cup and allow it to soak for a few seconds. While your sponge is soaking, turn on the microwave for about 10 to 15 seconds (this will loosen up any grease, oil, or food that may have exploded all over the inside of your microwave).

 

Once microwave has stopped, remove your alcohol soaked sponge from the cut, allow the excess to run off into the cut, but do not squeeze out the alcohol, especially if you have a really grimy microwave that is fill with old splattered food.  

 

Use the sponge to scrub the inside of the microwave, make sure you don’t forget the roof of the microwave, continue to scrub until microve becomes clean. If you sponge becomes filled with food, rinse the sponge and resoak in alcohol.

Once food and oil has been removed, flush the microwave with water using a cleaning rag. Now it’s time to wash out the microwave with dish soap, preferably dawn.
